Obesity, inactivity and arthritis


Not getting enough physical activity is a problem for many of us – and, a study finds, especially for obese people with arthritis. Researchers at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention saw the effect of arthritis in data from national health surveys in 2007 and 2009.  The CDC’s Kamil Barbour: ``Adults with obesity and arthritis were 44 percent more likely to be physically inactive, compared to adults with only obesity.’’   (7 seconds)
